Guardex pH decreaser is used to lower pH of spa water. Proper pH control of spa water is essential to eliminate problems caused by pH being too low or too high. If pH is too high water becomes uncomfortable to bathers, sanitisers lose efficiency, scale forms more readily and water can become dull.
Ideal bathing conditions exist at a slightly alkaline pH level of 7.2 to 7.6 with toal alkalinity of 125/150mg/l (ppm). This range will also allow most effective use of other spa chemicals.
If the reading is above 7.6, then add spa pH decreaser at the rate of 11g per 1000 litres of spa water.
