Steam that contains hot tub chemicals, will eventually erode away the cover. Old worn out covers will eventually start to absorb water and begin to get heavier, putting pressure on the cover seams. An economical hot tub thermal blanket will help prevent this and considerably extend the lifetime of your hot tub cover.

Covers are made from superior grade 400 micron polyethylene which includes a UV inhibitor.

NB. Covers and cover material will sometimes have a joining strip across the material. This is part of the manufacturing process.
