Hot Tub Spa Parts | Waterway Jets

Jet Identification

Waterway Jets.

The process of identification is simple and easy as in 90% of the cases you will be identifying Waterway jets as these are fitted to the majority of the world's hot tubs.

We are Waterway’s preferred stockist in the UK and the jets shown on our website are all typically in stock, however you may find you have a waterway jet or another manufacturer with a different shape, texture or colour, if so, please ring us on 01746 710475 and we will identify your jet and bring it in for you, a photograph is always a great help, email it to: mark@poolandspacentre.co.uk

To quickly and easily identify your jet:

 your hot tub jets

A) Measure the diameter of the jet face as above.

For your information Waterway jets come in the following diameters:

3" - popular
3 5/16" - extremely rare: special order only
3 3/8" - popular
4" - popular
5" - popular
5.5" - extremely rare: special order only
6.5" - extremely rare: special order only

B) Colours and Textures.

Waterway jets are supplied in grey - black - white and stainless steel, to complicate matters you can have those colours in a textured finish (mottled) or a smooth finish, to uncomplicate matters the UK market has 85% textured (mottled) jets, if you do require a smooth finsh, then ID your jet and ring us as we carry a selection in stock (not available online)

Stainless Steel rimmed jets are available with a grey, black or white internal plastic colours, in other words

Identification of the internals The face has a Stainless Steel rim, whereas the actual jet nozzle/ internal is made of the coloured plastic. Once again to makes matters easier, grey stainless steel is by far the most common, followed by black stainless, if you require white stainless it is by special order only.

C) Pick your Jet Massage type.

There are four massage types available from Waterway:

Directional
Rotational
Massage
Twin roto
Directional
Rotational
Massage
Twin Rotational

You can replace your existing jet with a different type of massage if you want a change, as long as you ensure the front face is the same size,

If you are doing a direct replacement, watch out with directional and rotational as they look identical except the rotational has a half moon in the jet nozzle and the directional does not.

D) The Jet Codes.

A Waterway jets is made up of a Front Face & a Diffuser (rear piece)

A final check before buying is to locate the jet code/number, found at poisition D) on the diffuser (as per diagram above). Don't worry some jets don't have this code or it may have worn away or the plastic may have a build up of scale, take a moment and scratch with your finger nail to see if you can reveal the code:

The codes will read one of the following:

218-5140 Waterway Cluster Storm (Upto 2")
218-6930 Waterway Mini Storm (2"-4")
218-4000 Waterway Poly Storm(2"-4")
218-6610 Waterway Power Storm (5"+)

Once identified you can place you order by clicking here, please place the code in the notes section for our info. Don't worry too much if you can't find it.

In the meantime any questions please do not hesiate to contact us on 01746 710475
