Spaguard Stain and Scale Control is designed to help prevent scale formation and unsightly metal staining on spa surfaces and equipment. Stain and Scale Control prevents new scale formation, aids in the removal of existing scale and to helps prevent precipitation of dissolved solids.
Before using this product ensure that the Chlorine or Bromine level in the water is not above 3 mg/l (ppm) because high sanitizer levels will reduce the effectiveness of this product. Clean the filters before application.
Initial application: Add SpaGuard Stain and Scale Control at a rate of 25 ml per 1000 litres of spa water. Apply directly into the water with the pump running. Leave the pump running for at least 8 hours after treatment.
Maintenance dose: To maintain the effect, add weekly at the rate of 15ml per 1000 litres of spa water.
Caution: Do not use any oxidiser products for several days following use of Spaguard Stain and Scale Control.
