Fits 1 inch rigid / flexible pipe. Clean fitting, then apply pipe cement evenly to both surfaces of joint, insert pipe fully into the socket depth and remove surplus cement with a cloth. It is always best to turn the fitting to remove a channelling effect, which causes leaks. There are 2 entry points on the control underside, creating an illuminated rim when the LED function is functioning.
