The Aquatron pump changed to Mark 2 in July 1994.
If the grey sticker on the return of the pump has a serial number ending in 'n', it is a Mark 3 pump. The pump can also be identified by measuring the impeller inlet opposite the thread: Mark 1 and 2 = 44 mm; Mark 3; 54 mm. On a Mark 1 and 2 pump the 1.5 hp impeller fins are curved. on a 2 hp impeller they have a visible flat section.
