Balboa GS100 with 2.0kW Heater and Mini Oval Topside

This hot tub system comes complete with the Balboa spa GS100 control pack, an M7 2kW heater and the VL200 topside control panel.

Topside Installation

To determine the correct topside for your application: a) space required to fit the new topside when removing old topside and the hole into which it fits (the topside links take you to the topside page where there are schematics of hole fitment) b) your system output set up.

Amp cables plug into the PCB to operate the components

If upgrading from an even older system or a different manufacturer, typically the process is the same, but, you will probably have to convert your old cables (typically JJ plugs) over as this box uses plastic amp plugs to connect to the circuit board, from all internal components i.e. pumps, ozone & blowers.

An example of what you will need is:

1 x 4 pin cable (2 speed pump)
2 x 3 pin cable (1 speed pump, blower or ozone)
1 x 2 pin cable (Spa light)

You have your existing cables so these are not supplied with the packs, you typically just need some AMP plugs and the AMP chrimps.

This GS100 Control Box is an entry level system. It has a small and easy to mount and set up the control box with a separate remote heater, 2 dip switches allow you to program time out functions for both speeds of the pump via. This unit must be fitted by a competent individual or tradesman.

The Heater M7 comes with 1.5" connections.
