Fi-Clor Spa Hardness Increaser

Fi-Clor Spa Hardness increaser should be used to raise the calcium hardness level in spa water. calcium hardness is the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium in pool water. If there is insufficient dissolved calcium, it will be difficult to balance the water - there could also be grout loss in tiled spas. High levels are not a major cause for concern provided the pH and alkalinity are within recommended parameters, but the reading should be kept below 750g/l (ppm) if possible. 1kg.

  1. Take a calcium hardness reading using your test kit or strips. You will need to correct the calcium hardness if the reading is below 175mg/l (ppm) in acrylic spas or 250mg/l (ppm) in tiled spas.
  2. The dose rate is 10g of Fi-Clor Spa Hardness Increaser per 1,000 litres (220 galls) of spa water. each dose will raise the hardness by approx 10mg/l (ppm). Add no more than 100g at any one time, otherwise the water may cloud exxessively.
  3. With the circulation system running sprinkle the product directly into the water around the perimeter of the spa. Do Not pre dissolve as this could generate exxessive heat. Only use when bathing has ceased and avoid the area around the skimmers. Bathing may recommence when all the material has fully disolved.
