Balboa Relay Kit for Heat Pump

Introduce energy efficient heating to your Balboa spa system! By installing this relay kit to your BP series spa pack, you can use an air source heat pump.

The heat pump will need its own power source but it will get the on/off signal from Balboa system. This way the external heat pump will get a heat signal (on signal) from system. When the system wants to heat, it will click the external relay or heat pump relay on, so the ON external power source will go over the external relay and turn on the heat pump. This way the system will also turn off the heat pump when the set temperature is reached.

• The relay kit can be used with all Balboa systems (except GS100), please see attached instructions:-
• For GS, GL and BP601G1, use the terminals J101 and J100.
• For BP600, BP6013, BP21XXX, use the terminals J48 and J49.
