Bayrol Decalcit Filter - 1kg

Bayrol Decalcit Filter is a very effective granular descaler for sand filters.

Using Decalcit Filter in pools fitted with sand filters on a regular basis will prevent the build up of calcium deposits and formation of large clumps in the filter material. This will maintain and improve the performance of the filter. It will also increase the efficiency of the water treatment products.

Decalcit Filter can also be used to descale cartridge filters.

This is used in two ways firstly once or twice a year a 10% solution of the cleaner direct onto the filter bed leave overnight then back wash.
Continuous filter use (sand filters only) before every second backwash dissolve 0.2-0.5kg of the product and pour into the skimmer basket set the 5 way valve to backwashing by breifly switching on the pump. The product will pass into the filter then turn the pump off straight away. Then set the 5 way valve to filtering then leave to react for approx 1 hour then backwash thoroughly.
