Hozelock Vorton UVC

These are Hozelock Vorton UV Clarifiers. They are effective at removing green water algae from ponds up to 18,500L They are available in 4 different models, the higher powerful UVC bulbs will maximise the removal of algae.

UVC's are brilliant for creating a clearer healthier pond. As the pond water travels past the UV lamp, algae particles which cause green water is clumped together, this can then be caught in the filter foam. A seperate UVC can be connected into the hose run between the pump and filter.

Vorton UVC's are highly efficient as pond water is slowed down as it passes the UVC lamp, water is also kept as close to the UV lamp as possible. This increases the exposure and maximises UV efficiency. They have been constructed with Quartz glass which is more effective than ordinary glass. They are also single ended lamps which last longer and have a higher UV output. They are easy to install and come with 5 metres of cable.
