Headrests can react badly when you have higher than 3 ppm of free chlorine level in your spa, so we recommend removal / covering when shocking or over chlorination.
Clean the headrests in your spa as needed by wiping them with a cloth with soapy water.
It is not necessary to remove the headrests for cleaning.
