Used in the hot tub water system to prevent water flowing back, typially it can be used between the suction plumbing and a filter housing to prevent water flow from being drawn from the floor of the spa rather than through the filters.
Fits 2 inch rigid / flexible pipe. Clean fitting, then apply pipe cement evenly to both surfaces of joint, insert pipe fully into the socket depth and remove surplus cement with a cloth. It is always best to turn the fitting to remove a channeling effect, which causes leaks.
