The new Balboa pump range is used to replace the previous Niagara and Ultimax models. It has undergone considerable improvement and certain changes over the last few years including dimensions. So please check the sizes on are page against what you are replacing.

Most wet ends can be rotated to 3, 9 and 12 o'clock so no need to worry about that.
It is worth checking overall dimensions of the pump before ordering to ensure you have enough space for the new pump.

The only difference between the part numbers is the plug type which you will have to replace/rewire with your old one as these are supplied with no cable.
Both the 2hp and 3hp has the same inlet and outlet and operating characteristics as there respective part numbers
The pump is based on the previous Sta-Rite model sometimes used in Master Spas.
We have been replacing it with the Vico Ultrajet (PEUL2H or PUUL5C2.), which was mainly used in Hydropool spas. The old Vico ultra jet pump was discontinued around 2008.
There are 2 choices available depending on the speed and the wet end dimensions you have.
This is choice 1 - choice 2 is Starite Durajet Pumps (single and dual-speed), you need to view the photo gallery and measure up to ensure you get the best centre-to-centre for the pipe couplings in the hot tub. This pump is shown on the left.
Please be aware the wet end comes in the factory set position, however it can be rotated to whichever 90-degree position you need.
When replacing, check space constraints - any problems please give us a ring on 01746 330950. Be aware we have supplied 1000's pumps and 95% are an exact replacement however we have come across some anomalies so measure up prior to ordering
