This is a straight Chinese LX heater, typically has a H30-R1 reference number, this replaces the old style rooster heater.

We have both 1.5 or 2 inch versions available, you can identify yours by knowing that:

1.5" versions fit pipe with a 48mm OD
2.0" versions fit pipe with a 60.3mm OD

You then need to decide if you need the heater with and without a pressure switch cable. The pressure switch cable (if present) is a second cable connected to the box of the heater, which is thinner than the main power cable. If your old heater has two cables, then choose a heater with a pressure switch cable; otherwise chose the version without one!

  • Complete Length: 340mm
  • Height 120 mm
  • Heater Diameter: 1.5" = 50 mm & 2" = 63mm
  • KW: 3.0
  • Amps: 13.6
  • Mount Type: Stud
  • Element: Single Incoloy
  • Volts: 230
  • Hz: 50

These are used primarily for Chinese spas where you may require a plumbing change or as a remote heater on a project

These heaters whichever option you choose have an in built hi-limit reset switch, the difference between them comes with whether your pressure switch is run with a 2 pin JST style connector which connects direct to the printed circuit board (with cable), or whether it comes without the pressure switch cable.

This heater is slightly longer than the Old Rooster type so you will need to alter the plumbing.

When installing that there is adequate water flow to generate back pressure for the sensor.
